Wishlist Wednesday #3

Photobucket

Wishlist Wednesday is a weekly blog hop post hosted by Pen to Paper in which we each write a post about a book that is on our wishlist.. either new or old it doesn't matter!

This week I've chosen Dead Until Dark from the True Blood collection by Charlaine Harris.

WHSmith Synopsis:

Sookie Stackhouse is a small-time cocktail waitress in small-town Louisiana. She's quiet, keeps to herself, and doesn't get out much - not because she's not pretty - she's a very cute bubbly blonde - or not interested in a social life. She really is ...but Sookie's got a bit of a disability. She can read minds. And that doesn't make her too dateable. And then along comes Bill: he's tall, he's dark and he's handsome - and Sookie can't 'hear' a word he's thinking. He's exactly the type of guy she's been waiting all her life for. But Bill has a disability of his own: he's fussy about his food, he doesn't like suntans and he's never around during the day ...Yep, Bill's a vampire. Worse than that, he hangs with a seriously creepy crowd, with a reputation for trouble - of the murderous kind. And then one of Sookie's colleagues at the bar is killed, and it's beginning to look like Sookie might be the next victim ...

I have constantly heard SO much good stuff about this book, literally about 99% of the people I know who have read it have raved about it and so I'm desperate to read it. I am literally obsessed with pretty much everything vampire related, so I know I will enjoy this book, there is no question! I am yet to own a hard copy but I have the first two books from the collection on my Kindle waiting to be read so I really hope I get round to them soon!

Bookish Purchase... KINDLE 3G!!

Attending a University doing a course in English Lit and not owning a Kindle whilst all my friends do has been nothing short of painful for me for the past few weeks.. I managed to persuade my boyfriend to buy me the Kinde wi-fi for Christmas. But, luckily for me, the lovely boy that he is, he decided it would be a good idea, both financially and practically if he bought it and gave me my little Kindle well before Christmas.. so, here it is accompanied by my lovely purple cushioned case...

Instead of the Kindle wi-fi, in the end he decided he wanted to get me the 3G one, I wasn't really bothered either way as long as it was the keyboard edition so I welcomed it with open arms!

I can hands down say, I am entirely in LOVE with my new gift, to be honest I dont know how I ever coped before! It's my new baby, it literally comes everywhere with me and I simply cannot put it down!

For anyone out there thinking of buying one, I would absolutely say do it! Without a doubt if you are a big reader then you will adore this as much as I do, and it is 100% worth every penny!

So.. go get yours... quickkk! :)
